We are on the hunt for a trend-savvy Stitched Video Editor who’s always online, always in the know, and knows exactly how to make people stop scrolling. We are look for video editors who has experience in Lifestyle/Food/Home & Living Content/News!
Your mission: find what’s trending, stitch together clips from different sources, and create high-impact short videos for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more.
If you love storytelling in 60 seconds or less and have a knack for turning raw clips into viral gold — this job is for you.
What you will do:
Spot Trends & Source Content
- Stay updated on trending topics, viral clips, and current events — both local and regional.
- Gather short clips from social media, news, creators, and our archives to stitch into engaging stories.
- Pitch video concepts that are timely, witty, and share-worthy.
Edit for Maximum Impact
- Edit videos by combining multiple clips into smooth, fast-paced, and engaging short-form content.
- Add captions, graphics, memes, sound effects, and music to boost watch time.
- Optimise edits for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
Publish-Ready & Platform-Perfect
- Format videos to each platform’s specs and algorithm preferences.
- Work closely with the content and social media team to get videos out while trends are still hot.
- Adapt content quickly based on feedback and performance data.
Follow the Rules
- Ensure proper credit, rights usage, and compliance with copyright/fair use guidelines.
- Keep up with platform policies and editing best practices.
The successful candidate should have:
- At least 2 years' experience in short-form video editing (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts).
- Proficient in editing tools like Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premiere
- Candidate with has edited news content will be prioritize
- Strong eye for timing, pacing, and what makes a video “viral-worthy.”
- Creative thinker who can work fast without losing quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with remote teams.
