About the role:

We are seeking a Senior YouTube Producer to support the continued growth of TSL’s iconic YouTube channels. 


This role has a unique opportunity to help define one or more of TSL’s iconic YouTube channels and will ensure successful end-to-end management of the channel operations. This includes high level content strategy development, budgeting, resource planning, pre to post production management.  


Success of this role is defined by the increase in subscribers and traffic through the development of great content, while maintaining a consistent voice, visual style and brand identity.


What you will do:

Content Development

  • Responsible for the direction of the video content on TSL Media Group’s Youtube channels, which includes schedule planning and reporting
  • End-to-end process of production, from content planning to post-production.
  • To review and ensure the overall quality of content on our YouTube channels, making sure all uploads meet the required standards.

Workflow & Processes

  • Make recommendations regarding workflow processes to ensure the highest amount of productivity and efficiency.
  • Review current processes and being able to troubleshoot effectively with both local/regional teams

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage production budgets for both organic content and client projects, ensuring that budgets align with the diverse range of video executions.
  • Effectively allocate resources and manage the production team, including hiring and coordinating with freelancers when necessary to optimize project execution.

Others

  • Lead and oversee a team of Video Producers, offering guidance and constructive feedback to enhance the quality and creativity of video content.
  • Professionally collaborate with clients to execute video campaigns that meet their goals and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and new features to continually improve the channel’s performance.
  • Undertake analysis of viewer behaviour, engagement, and retention. 
  • Implement SEO best practices for video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to maximise visibility and reach.

The successful candidate should have:

  • At least 4 years’ of experience in video production, with a strong focus on Youtube or digital platforms.
  • Deep understanding of YouTube’s platform, trends, and best practices,
  • Demonstrated ability in end-to-end video production process
  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Lightroom
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while troubleshooting production issues in a fast-paced environment.
