About your role:
As a Hybrid Creative Executive, you will create engaging, on-brand video content for two channels—Off Day Plans (@offdayplans) and The Smart Local (@thesmartlocalsg). In this role, you will manage all aspects of content production, from ideation and shooting to editing, ensuring the content is tailored to each platform’s unique needs while staying aligned with current trends and brand guidelines.
What you will do:
- Videography and Photography
- Shoot and edit short form videos/photographs for Off Day Plans (@offdayplans) and TSL (@thesmartlocalsg) platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and more.
- Apply creative techniques and critical thinking to deliver engaging, on-brand videos.
- Stay updated on current trends and incorporate them into content production.
- Develop well-thought-out content outlines that are engaging and meet client objectives.
- Content Adherence & Campaign Management
- Ensure all videos meet the branding specifications and guidelines of the Creative team and the company.

Take full ownership to handle client and organic campaigns from start to end, working closely with project managers and content strategists
- Ideation
- Stay updated on the current social media landscape, including trending topics and the types of content that perform best on different platforms.
- Independently generate fresh, creative content ideas and segments that are on-brand and have viral potential.
- Ideate for both advertorial and organic content across all platforms, including experimental and new content formats.
- Conduct thorough research and curate factual, relevant information to support the content creation process.
- Talent Utilization
- Talent for content appearing on TSL and ODP and its sister sites, such as Eatbook, MustShareNews, Uchify, etc.
A successful candidate should have:
- At least 2 years of experience in 1-man video production, including camera work and editing
- Got an eye for the cinematography style that matches ODP’s vibe
- Well-versed in both photography and videography from pre to post-production
- Strong proficiency in post production tools (Adobe Suite, DaVinci Resolve)
- Creative thinker with a good understanding of digital content, the social media landscape and trending topics and able to translate that into content ideas
- Team player and independent to a work environment that is fast-paced
- Strong communication skills and able to keep everyone on the same page and run things smoothly
