Account Executive / Account Manager

About your role:

This position will be based in our Singapore office located in Kallang Bahru.

We are seeking someone to build and maintain strong client relationship, drives revenue growth through strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and lead integrated campaigns across various digital marketing channels. 


What you will do:

Account Executive: 

  • Arrange meetings and liaise with clients to understand their requirements and the brief 
  • Work closely with Sales and Account leads to craft creative and strategic proposals to secure new and recurring business opportunities
  • Client follow up for proposal reviews and campaign confirmations
  • Be a main point of contact for clients and working closely with the stakeholders to ensure that the campaigns run smoothly across all stages of the campaigns
  • Support line manager / management in client management duties, reporting needs etc., where required maintains a clear account pipeline.
  • Uses CRM diligently to update Management. 
  • In charge of the success of the campaigns and that they are delivered on time, and on budget, and up to client expectations 
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to inform ongoing optimization efforts and strategic recommendations for clients, thereby improvising campaign performance such that it leads to client renewals
  • Understand when to escalate to your senior managers when faced with challenges that you are unable to solve
  • Foster rapport with clients and brands, sustaining relationships through regular meetings and communication in order to build trust
  • Actively seek opportunities to drive new business, working closely with the Sales team, and be aware of up-selling opportunities when liaising with clients

Account Manager: 

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • To grow company revenue through retention and proactive strategic upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated campaigns, with a focus on influencer marketing, paid social ads, content marketing, branding and digital marketing
  • Understand the business value in different campaigns and allocate your time and efforts accordingly to monitor and gatekeep the quality of the campaigns
  • Be an extremely effective communicator able to balance clients needs and happiness against required steps to drive campaign success
  • Proactively manage, plan and strategise account plans in order to grow key accounts
  • Able to independently and critically create compelling proposals and accurate budgets, whilst effectively lead a client meeting on your own and secure buy-in from prospective clients
  • Manage client budgets, campaign margins and forecast pipeline
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Project Management, and media planning and buying to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on budget
  • Where necessary this also includes the involvement and collaboration of wider TSL teams including and not limited to: Content Strategy, Creative, Editorial, Video
  • Use data and insights to inform campaign strategy and optimize performance, also ensuring that campaign reporting is effective and succinct 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members

A successful candidate should have:

  • Minimum of 1 year (AE) or 4-5 years (AM) of experience in account management in a social media agency or creative agency environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field 
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Strong experience in developing and executing integrated influencer campaigns across SEA
  • Passionate about pop culture, trends, content, KOLs and social media
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics, benchmarks and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative concepts and strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform and optimize campaign strategy
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff 
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Fluent written and spoken English, a second Asian language would be an advantage
