We are seeking a passionate Marketing intern to strengthen our Telegram community.
Your primary role will be to support the team and manage the growth of Telegram community through moderation, content creation, and community engagement.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship.
What you will do:
- Learn the fundamentals of Telegram marketing, community engagement strategies, and audience segmentation
- Manage and moderate 2 neighborhoods community groups to foster a positive, engaging, and welcoming environment for members
- Be a reliable point of contact for all enquiries in the community groups, ensuring timely and professional responses
- Actively expand our Telegram network with a focus on the allocated community groups
- Ideate, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content tailored for each of the 2 community groups
- Utilize "insider knowledge" of the local area to identify attractive opportunities that resonate with the community
- Manage the content pipeline for allocated community groups, ensuring a consistent flow of deals or new happenings
- Monitor content performance and provide insights to help improve engagement, views, shares, and follower growth
- Support content strategy development and ad hoc tasks
The successful candidate should have:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Media/Communications Studies or equivalent
- Strong interest and familiarity with Telegram as a platform for communication and community building
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting engaging, clear, and concise content
- Self-starter, proactive, and able to manage a strict content calendar independently
- A keen eye for detail and quality control
- Team player mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas
- Candidates who reside in or are highly familiar with the Bedok/Tampines areas are strongly preferred, as local knowledge is crucial for the role
- Knowledge of community building on Facebook/Instagram/Discord/Reddit is a plus
- Able to commit to a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship
