About the role:
We are seeking a seasoned agency leader (Senior Manager - Director level) to lead and scale our Singapore business operations. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for the agency’s business performance, including client growth, campaign execution, team development, and financial results.
You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with brands, clients, and influencers, and ensuring exceptional execution across all campaigns. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, deep industry and influencer networks, and the ability to translate market opportunities into sustainable business growth while fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and creative team culture.
What you will do:
Leadership & Strategy
- Oversee all operations for Business Development function, ensuring the agency meets its business goals and client expectations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the agency’s presence and influence in the Singapore market.
- Lead and inspire the local team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
Market Growth & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth in Singapore.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, brands, and influencers to strengthen market positioning.
- Work closely with the account management team to cultivate long-term client relationships and drive repeat business.
Upholding Standards of Execution
- Oversee the execution of influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency standards.
- Encourage cross-department collaboration between sales, account management, project management, and strategy teams to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze campaign or account performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Team Development & Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, providing growth opportunities for team members.
- Implement performance metrics and ensure team alignment with agency goals.
Financial Management
- Oversee the financial performance of the Singapore business, including budgeting, forecasting, and frequent reporting.
- Ensure resources are efficiently allocated and that the agency meets or exceeds revenue targets.
- Manage profitability while delivering exceptional value to clients, with target profit margins taken into consideration for influencer and paid media costs.
The successful candidate should have:
- At least 8 years of experience in an agency or relevant industry.
- Exceptional understanding of influencer marketing, campaign execution, and performance measurement.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of building client relationships and revenue growth.
- Proven leadership experience with ability to lead, inspire, and grow teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
