Assistant Project Manager (Influencer Marketing)

About your role:

We are seeking someone who is capable of managing project from initiation to completion. This includes liaising with clients, planning and organizing project deliverables, and ensuring timely delivery. The successful candidate should also be an effective communicator among team members and stakeholders, providing solutions to any arising issues and maintaining the overall performance of the project.


What you will do:

  • Be able to successfully lead campaigns across SEA
  • Arrange and lead regular meetings with your team: ensure briefs are understood, campaigns are running smoothly, and discuss priorities and targets in an effective way
  • Support Account Managers with influencer and campaign-related matters on client calls
  • Understand performance metrics such as CPA/ CPM/ CPC / CTR / CPEs across SEA and use these to inform decisions on influencer lock-ins and campaign optimisations
  • Analyze performance data to provide clear, actionable insights. Deliver regular reports and post-campaign analysis, comparing results against industry benchmarks.
  • Assist with building industry benchmarks across SEA
  • Make sure budgets are being managed effectively throughout the campaigns you manage
  • Have the foresight to make drastic changes to a campaign approach/mechanic based on live campaign data if necessary in order to meet client’s objectives and targets
  • Utilise knowledge of paid media in campaigns and proposals to optimize both campaign execution and results. Make decisions during the campaign which relate in positive way to your paid strategy and guide the formats of paid assets using organic content
  • Responsible and accountable for life cycle of influencer engagement, not limited to pitching, negotiating, briefs, content reviewing, reporting and insights analysis
  • Work with Sales and Account Management teams to contribute and occasionally lead the creation of proposals, understand deliverables, and contribute to discussions on new business opportunities, upsells, and client briefs with the sales team and internal stakeholders
  • Stay on top of regional influencer and social platform trends
  • Where necessary, be able to lead campaigns directly with clients in the absence of an Account Manager
  • In charge of ensuring processes are adhered to and quality standards are maintained from the aspects of influencer curation, content reviews, project management and reports from junior members of the team
  • Being the source for advice within the team in Singapore given your strong understanding of influencer marketing campaigns and processes

A successful candidate should have:

  • At least 3 years' experience working with influencers in Singapore and across SEA
  • At least 1 year experience managing junior direct reports
  • Familiarity in influencer marketing campaign reporting and analysis, with the ability to educate team members on performance metrics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues
  • Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive, cohesive team environment
  • Has experience managing multiple freelancers across APAC for regional campaigns
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, excelling at multitasking and adjusting to change
  • Organised, detailed, driven and results-oriented, with a focus on exceeding targets, meeting deadlines and setting high personal goals
  • A social media user and familiar with trends on Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Understanding of Xiao Hong Shu and Lemon8 is a plus
  • Well-written and spoken English is a must
  • Ability to speak and write in Chinese and/or Bahasa Melayu to undertake simple translation and communicate with regional counterparts
